Conservation Award Luncheon. Saturday, March 5, 2016. Honoring Sharon Ford (Service Award) and Mark Osokow (Conservation Award) – Make Your Reservations TODAY! Click “SUPPORT SFVAS” at upper right, or PayPal link below

The 2016 SFVAS Annual Conservation Award Luncheon “trumps” (pardon the expression) the Academy Awards!

Although some of Hollywood’s entertainment and conservation luminaries are already focused on the Red Carpet events at the Oscars in February, just a few days later (March 5) all media attention will converge on the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society’s Annual Conservation Banquet. This year’s winners, Mark Osokow (Conservation Award) and Sharon Ford (Service Award) will have had time to press their tuxedo and ball gown and be ready to receive their awards at the annual festivities.

The event will include the awards presentation (“the envelope please”), a marvelous Italian Buffet (with vegetarian choices), entertainment by jazz singer Suze Krebs (see below), raffles, and time for socializing with friends and other “birds of a feather.” Billy Crystal has been invited to be the Host (we’ll see if he shows up).
