December 19, 2015 from 4pm to about 7pm — At the San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center 18312 Oxnard Street, Tarzana, CA — Phone # 818 697-5525
Members and guests are welcome – counters and non-counters alike – don’t let our Peregrine drink alone!
A really informal gathering to swap Christmas Bird Count data, celebrate the holiday season and the coming start of 2016! The hour is early so all ages are welcome (but no beer for the kiddies). We plan on providing pizza and salad (around 5pm), beer ($5 donation appreciated), soft drinks, paper plates and plastic utensils. Also will provide projector for anyone wanting to show off photos – bring them on a flash drive.
Please RSVP to Pat.Bates@sfvaudubon.org (so we know how much stuff to get)
The San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center is located at 18312 Oxnard Street, Tarzana. If you use navigation put the address in – do not try to use a description as it will not work and you will end up someplace else.
There is an entrance to the Center on the south side of Oxnard Street between Reseda and Etiwanda – however it can be easy to miss. Best thing to do is access from Etiwanda Street. From Etiwanda you turn west into the alley which is just behind the building, and turn left into the large fenced parking lot (not the one on the corner). There is now signage on the correct lot. Note – there are usually trucks parked in the lot – there are plenty of spaces for cars as well. For night meetings it is OK to park directly behind the Center if a business is obviously closed. However there is one business which operates at night and those parking spaces are clearly marked ‘no parking ever’. Remember Etiwanda does not go ‘through’ – it ends at Oxnard (north) and Burbank (south).
SEE YOU THERE!!
